I apologize for being away from this blog for so long. With a much needed vacation and grad school having recently begun, I must admit my little online corner has been shamefully neglected and forgotten.

I do, however, have a quick update: I now weigh in at 108.0 lbs, which brings me to a total weight loss of 29 lbs! Say it with me now: Oh yes, we can!

And I have returned after a nearly two-month hiatus.

This post has nothing to do with dieting and – let me warn you – it’s not a very happy one.

I’m sorry – I feel like lately all I have been doing is whining and complaining, but I don’t know how much longer I will be able to do this. I’m at the office at the moment, posting from my phone. We don’t subscribe to any internet service, so we have to rely on the unstable, extremely sluggish free wireless. I kid you not, I have been siting here for more than 30 minutes waiting for a website to load. No amount of refreshing and stopping and waiting has been able to help me.

I managed to access ONE website and print out their grant application information in the last 90 minutes, which brings me to my next point… There are absolutely no office supplies here. None. Well, aside from paper and pens. But when it comes to paper clips and staplers, all I can do is pray to find them somewhere in the mess that is this place. Until then, my printouts will have to fly around loosely…
I could just go home and use my own Internet to access all the info I need but, alas, I must stay here. Why? Don’t know.
And to start my day off REALLY well, my negative friend blessed me with her electrons first thing in the morning. I won’t even elaborate on this… I just have no comment.

Aaand for some other unexplained reason, the TV must stay on here. Right. Next. To. Me. I wouldnt mind it if we were watching the news – or even a children’s show for that matter. But no, we are watching Jerry Springer, which will be followed by some idiotic court show. Talk about culture, huh?

I want to scream. I really do. Why don’t I just leave? It’s complicated, and I might explain it here someday.
