In one simple sentence: A 22-year-old recent college graduate trying to get healthy and fit!
In numbers: 5’0″; 137lb (Starting weight).
In the past seven years or so, I have gained approximately 36 pounds, jumping from a healthy 101 to an overweight 137. Needless to say, I just about fell off the scale and dropped dead on the bathroom floor when I saw the dreadful numbers show up on the tiny screen…
You see, I hadn’t stepped on a scale for some years too many. I knew I had gained “a few” pounds judging from my ever-increasing pant sizes and from the flab in my belly-belly, but I had no idea it was enough to skyrocket my BMI into the overweight category.
I was in shock. And the shock was more than enough to propel me into diet mode… So, here I am! Ever since September 10th, 2008, I have been counting my calories faithfully and doing cardio exercises whenever I can. Check back here often to monitor my progress!
Oh, Yes. We Can!

Yeah, I know what it’s like to get on the scale after some years. Took life slapping me upside the head to do anything about it. Keep it up on getting fit.
